Dr Kokayi discusses with acupuncturist Susana Byer a community acupuncture program starting at the Kokayi center. In community acupuncture patients are treated at a fraction of the usual costs in a room where other patients are also being treated. The focus is on systems of acupuncture that rely on using points on exposed surfaces of the body; the ear, hands, and feet. Whole body representations can be found on these an other parts of the body and can be used to treat a variety of problems.

Dr Kokayi focuses on Breast cancer with the understanding that the central issue in dealing with prevention and in many cases treatment is estrogen dominance. He looks at the different ways woman get into an estrogen dominant situation; from nutrient deficiencies to xenohormones, estrogens in the environment. With his guest Dr Anne Jeffres they discuss the role Chinese medicine can play in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer, looking at different diagnostic patterns that can lead to breast cancer and how to treat them with acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
