Protecting Ourselves From The Affects of Taking Prescription Drugs – Open Call Discussion

The Discussion began with Hurricane Katrina and global warming. Hurricanes and other anomalies have intensified in the last 50 years and the potential for social catastrophe is discussed in the face of future catastrophes. On the main topic of protecting ourselves from the harmful affects of taking prescription drugs, discussion insues on how medicine can enter our systems and  interfere and disrupt our physiology in ways that are not intended. Some drugs may have signals that warn us, but some may be silent and we may not realize what is happening until we are seriously ill. Open call discussions from dedicated listeners ranged from interesting and informative topics on insurance, manipulating our diet as a form of therapy and the substitution of ones drugs with herbal medicine.

Hurricane Katrina and The Real Issue. Also, Connecting With Animals – Ted Andrews

Ted Andrews is the guest and the reactions to Hurricane Katrina and the real issues underlying this, global warming, to which the government has failed to properly respond, are addressed. According to Andrews there has to be a balance and a dynamic exchange of information including feedback from the living planet.   The program includes discussion on our metaphysical connection to the animal world and understanding the significance of animals to our life, learning to speak with them, the meaning of animal totems, energetic uses of animal feathers/parts and the guidance animals can offer to our lives.   The need to have a stronger connection with nature and how to go about doing this is discussed.
