Shamanic Practices

Dr Kokayi has an opportunity to speak with Dr Steven Farmer a shamanic practitioner about his understanding and use of this discipline. Dr Farmer is a retired psychotherapist who has become adept at using the shamanic trance state to employ the help of spirit guides in the healing of others as well as using consciousness altering techniques in soul retrieval to assist individuals experiencing post traumatic stress and other psychological disorders. Dr Kokayi interviews one of the culture carriers from the African continent who has maintained his traditions and brought his cultural healing attributes to these shores and has a Ghanaian healing center in New Jersey.
